A Robocall is a call generated by an automatic dialing telephone system, i.e. any call not initiated by a human finger, and their use is largely regulated by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. These types of calls have become a huge headache for consumers. Despite the illegality, the amount of Robocalls being made to consumers is estimated to reach 30 Billion in the United States by year’s end, signaling an increase of over 50% from 2015 according to YouMail. YouMail is a software company from Irvine, California, specializing in visual voicemail and Robocall blocking software.  YouMail has been tracking Robocall activity in order to provide the data cited in this report to the public at large.  The total number of Robocalls estimated to be placed this year is almost equal to 100 calls for every man, woman, and child in the United States.  More specifically, the city of Buffalo reached number 38th on the list of the ‘50 Most Robocalled...

Significance of Pope’s UN Visit Seen in Bible’s ‘Rosetta Stone’--Revelation

September 02, 2016

Like the Rosetta Stone with three languages that helped translate the hieroglyphics, the Bible’s book of Revelation has imagery that helps explain the beasts in the book of Daniel. Doing so also helps to understand why the pope calls the Bible a ‘dangerous book,’ because it identifies the papacy as a major player in end-time deception not seen in Daniel, says Dr. Richard Ruhling, author of The Alpha & Omega Bible Code, offering the following explanation. Revelation’s 13th chapter updates the imagery of the ‘little...

Media Coverage of Fatal Shooting brings charges of Reporting Bias

August 31, 2016

ABC13 TV News reporter Marla Carter was describing the crime scene where a man’s life was taken tragically by gun fire.  Both her and the homicide detective she interviewed used discerptions laced with words like “trailer,” “trailer park” and “mobile home,” when most of the visible homes in her videos appeared to be . "The terminology matters, because the terminology defines the construction standard," says Steve Duke, from the neighboring Louisiana Manufactured Housing Association. “By saying what kind of housing the shooting took place, almost implies that the house had something to do with the crime,” said Brad Nelms, a long time veteran of the manufactured home industry. Nelms explained that Carter’s report was a clear example of media bias or ignorance, and either way, he rhetorically asked,...

The Crisis of Capitalism Heralds the Growth of a New Economy

September 01, 2016

The data is in, the experts have spoken—today’s global economy is in deep trouble, both financially and environmentally. The debt, inequality and environmental crises—all comprehensively analyzed in the upcoming book Growing a New Economy—signals the end of  an era, but also the growth of an entirely new economic system. “It’s too late to continue with business as usual,” says authors Roar Bjonnes, an environmental activist, and Caroline Hargreaves, a graduate of the London School of Economics.  They believe it’s no longer enough to keep patching up the old economic cracks with yet another set of reforms.
