It’s real. It’s not a joke. The $1 margarita is alive and well at Applebee’s and will remain on the menu through August 31.
Chris Dharod, Chief Operating Officer of Apple Texas Group, a Franchisee of Applebee’s, challenged America to “Save the Dollarita” by liking or sharing the drink’s Facebook page. According to Dharod, it was a huge success. “We had so many likes and shares from the general Facebook user’s page, that we surpassed our goal over the weekend.”
Thanks to a Facebook frenzy, Applebee’s Guests will be able to enjoy the Dollarita ($1 Margarita) through August 31 at all 68 Applebee’s restaurants in DFW, Houston, Austin, East Texas, Waco and surrounding areas owned by Apple Texas Group.
